From 9-1-1 co-creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear, 9-1-1: Lone Star follows a sophisticated New York firefighter who, along with his son, relocates from Manhattan, New York to Austin, Texas. He must try to balance the duties of saving those who are at their most vulnerable and solving the problems in his own life. He is joined by other firefighters as well as members of the police department and emergency medical services. Series star Rob Lowe serves as co-executive producer.[8]

The brief promo for 9-1-1: Lone Star season 4 reveals some of the key moments set to unfold in the latest episode. In the new episode, Owen and team 126 set out to help a husband whose wife seems to suffer from a peculiar problem. Meanwhile, in another pivotal moment, Grace picks up a call from a pizza delivery driver.
As previously mentioned, the OG series was airing on FOX during the 2022 fall season and won't be back with new episodes for a while. In order to keep the procedural feel up and running, 9-1-1 Lone Star Season 4 will premiere on January 24, 2023, at 8 pm ET/PT. The series was previously slated to air on Tuesday, January 17, but was pushed back a week after the announcement that The Resident's season finale would be split into two parts. The first part of that came out on January 10 and the second part will be released to the public on January 17. The first episode of Season 4 will lead into the second episode of FOX's latest anthology drama, Accused.
